St John Bosco Feast Day Celebrations

Last Friday we celebrated the Feast of St John Bosco (January 31) by beginning with two Assemblies in the Assembly Space in the morning. Students gathered to learn about the life of St Jon Bosco with our Principal Mr Sheehy.
At the Assemblies, Mr Sheehy also introduced our new staff to our students. A special welcome to our new Library Officer Mrs Da Silva and Library Technician Mrs Ramasundaram. They announced our new Library and Resource Centre to our students, the new centre has been named after one of our House Patrons, de Sales.
St Francis is the Patron of Catholic writers and journalists. He became noted for his deep faith and his gentle approach to the religious divisions in his land. St Francis is known also for his writings on the topic of spiritual direction and spiritual formation. Learn more about St Francis de Sales and why we chose “Joy in Loving” as the de Sales House motto by visiting the websites at https://salesiansisters.org/st-francis-de-sales/ https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=51
