Last week our Secondary Academic GATE Enrichment students competed in the ANSTO Hackathon. This competition asked students to solve the problem “How might we best design and implement an innovative glass-based solution to improve quality of life in your local community for the future?”.
Congratulations
to all our Hackathon students and a big congratulation to our Year 7 and Year 8 Bigger Brain Bosco Team won the Junior category of ANSTO’s National Science Week Hackathon. Our students were given the opportunity to work with design innovation associate Carol Azzam MacKay (ANSTO), mentor Michael Walter (ANSTO), mentor Rifat Farzana (ANSTO) and glass expert Dr Nathan Munz (Glassform).
