Staff Professional Learning Day

Today staff spent the morning in a special workshop with Geniene Mairata from Well Built Mind. Staff have learnt to recognise and appreciate the basic neurochemical components of mental wellbeing. They also learnt some strategies which help create positive personal wellbeing.

In the afternoon, staff took part in community service in three groups – Schoenstatt Shrine, St Francis Xavier Parish, and Emmaus Catholic Primary School, Dayton . Staff helped with general cleaning, organising, maintenance, and gardening duties. Community service involvement is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community.
